Their problem
This sewage treatment plant used a rotary press type dewatering machine under normal conditions, and a belt press dewatering machine during the periodic maintenance shutdown. As the belt press dewatering machine broke down, and the repair cost turned out to be high, the client was considering installing a new dewatering machine. However, the extremely small space available for installation made it difficult to select an alternative
AMCON‘ssolution
The VOLUTE™ MW series sludge dewatering press can be delivered and installed by dividing the equipment into two parts: the filter element (cylinder unit), and the Flocculation tank. Arranging the equipment in an L-shape, rather than a horizontal row, the installation space problem was solved, allowing them to make use of the empty space in the existing dewateringroom. The cake water content was also good at 75%, and the introduction of the MW series has put the site management staff at ease.
