Their problem
This frozen food factory was troubled with a high content of FOG (Fat, Oil and Grease) concentration in the waste water discharged into the sewage. However, other high hurdles such as the need of large-scale expansion for dewatering facilities or site prevented them from reaching the best solution. In such situation, AMCON received their consultation if VOLUTE™ can remove oil and fat content.
AMCON’s solution
As a result of sample analysis, concentration of raw water was as low as 300mg/L. However, good flocculation was formed with PAC and polymer, which enabled an engineering company to propose a treatment flow and to install VOLUTE™. As a result, FOG was admirably removed with VOLUTE™. AMCON could also get a word of praise; “We are so relieved that we could resolved longstanding problems without a large-scale expansion for wastewater treatment facilities.”
